Thousands of orphans get high-quality food in Ctg

 

CHATTOGRAM: Thousands of orphans of some 23 orphanages in Chattogram were fed with high-quality food on Sunday.

After getting the meal, they prayed for the Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir and development and prosperity of the country and the nation.

The foods were distributed to the orphanages at the directive of Sayem Sobhan Anvir.

Earlier, the process of cooking the foods for this purpose was started on Saturday afternoon.

The delicious foods were cooked with great care. Senior officials of the Bashundhara Group, a leading business conglomerate of the country, monitored all the processes throughout the night.

After filling the foods in boxes, those were sent to the orphanages following lists prepared earlier.

An official of the group said that the managing director regularly sends good-quality foods for orphans in Dhaka every Friday.

He arrived in Chattogram on the occasion of the grand signing ceremony between the ABG Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange.

The foods were distributed to the 23 orphanages on this occasion, added the official.
