Dhaka MRT Line -1 Authority Visits BICL Cement Plant

On May 25, 2024, a team from Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) visited the Bashundhara Industrial Complex Limited factory as part of the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line 1).

During the visit, the DMTCL officials had a factory tour to observe Bashundhara Cement’s modern production process and quality control systems. The visitors showed keen interest in the use of advanced Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) technology, which ensures high-quality cement production.

After the tour, an informative discussion session took place where officials from both sides talked about the progress of the MRT Line 1 project and the role of Bashundhara Cement in supporting national infrastructure. The session also focused on quality assurance, timely delivery, and sustainable construction practices.
