Bashundhara Cement Signs Deal With FDEE

Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has signed a business deal with First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Ltd (FDEE).

The deal-signing ceremony was held at the Westin Dhaka in the capital on Tuesday evening.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Ltd Managing Director Montchai Musicabud inked the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Produced in VRM technology, Bashundhara cement is going to be used in the country’s first elevated expressway project. The project will require around 250,000 tonnes of cement.

First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Ltd is an organization of Italian-Thai Public Development Company Ltd.

Wichien Roongrujirat, Managing Director of Italian-Thai-Development Bangladesh Company, along with other officials attended the event.

Bashundhara Group Senior Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Belayet Hossain, DMD (cement sector) Engineer AKM Mahbub-uz-Zaman, CFO Md Tofail Hossain, Cement Sector’s Head of Sales Khandker Kingshuk Hossain, and other high officials were present on the occasion.
